Ducati Motorcycles Return to India With BS6 Upgraded Panigale V4 Superbike and The Husky Diavel 1260
To help curb the country’s air pollution, India’s central government has mandated that as of April 1, 2020, vehicle makers must manufacture, sell and register only BS-VI (BS6) compliance vehicles.
BS-VI’s newest government effort to regulate the output of air pollutants from the internal combustion engine as of April 2020 placed the entire Ducati India range of motorcycles temporarily off sale.
With COVID caseloads dropping and the country is beginning to reopen gradually, to the pleasure of the country’s ducatisti, Ducati reintroduced its first upgraded BS6 bikes.
The first two BS6 compliant models to return are the Ducati Panigale V4, the flagship superbike, and the muscular power cruiser, the Diavel 1260.
