Eight Ducati Motorcycles To Post in 2022 MotoGP Grid
The 2022 MotoGP grid is expected to rise to at least 24 riders, with Ducati planning to supply eight of them as Gresini and VR46 reach an agreement with the firm.
Ducati CEO Paolo Ciabatti stated earlier this month that the company would be willing to increase its presence on the MotoGP grid from six to eight bikes. The factory Ducati Corse team would enter two, and two by Pramac Racing, the official satellite arm.
Between 2016 until 2018, satellite teams Aspar, Avintia, and Pramac, raced Ducati motorcycles alongside the factory team, totaling eight bikes.
With the agreement, Ducati becomes the best-represented manufacturer on the 2022 MotoGP circuit.
